First let us discuss about the words used in the lyric of a beautiful song written by sastry in telugu script "విధాత తలపున ప్రభవించిన"which can be spelt in english as "vidhaata talapuna prabhavinchinadiee".

 If  we observe the first word  "విధాత" composed of three letters  "వి(vi) ధా(dhaa) త(ta)" on combination sounds like "vidhaata" means "the god of creaion" (it is the name of the god of creation "Brahma" in ancienciet hindu culture evolved in the valley region of indus river). Coming next to the second word: " తలపున" which is a combination of four letters  త (ta)and ల(la) and పు(pu) and  న(na) which can be spelt as "talapuna" in english means that " in the thoughts of creation". Coming to the last word "ప్రభవించిన" which is a combination of five letters  "ప్ర"(pra) భ(bha) విం(vin) చి(chi) న(na) can be spelt in english as "prabhavinchina" means "rised" in english. So on total and on the combination of all the three words "vidhaata" "talapuna" "prabhavinchina" means " the thoughts of creation rised in the god of creation"

He belongs to Anakapalli region which is famous for jaggery market in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. He discontinued the medicine course at Andhra Meical College, visakhapatnam.After that he worked with the Telephone Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh before starting his career as a lyricist for telugu-movies.

He is a multiple winner of Nandi Award for Best Lyricist 10 times and Film fare Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu 3 times. Recently Ram Charan Teja presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry for his contribution to film music and literature and the group photo is shown below
